WE ONLY USE 100% FSC® CERTIFIED HARD WOOD

The boy and our classic 100% hard wooden FSC® ‘C O N T O U R’ benches in our hometown Campo Tures in Northern Italy. In the background you see also our ‘S C A L A’ litter bin.
 

These benches were installed almost 30 years ago in 1990 and do still look fabulous. That has two simple reasons:

1st: we do only use 100% FSC® certified hard wood which is extremely long-lasting against the atmospheric conditions. The long life of our urban furniture products (on average 25 years) ensures an activity management based on the saving of energy and resources.

2nd: good maintenance. The surface of treated wood with thin water-based glazes, as used in this project, should be renewed every two years to prevent weathering, which is very simple. For this purpose, the factory applied thin glaze must be cleaned and retreated with the appropriate varnish.
