1975 he studied electrical engeneering and cybernetics at the Polytechnic Institute of Magdeburg
1982 industrial design at the Academy of Art of Berlin
He currently works as a product designer, creator of information projects and exhibition architect with his studio eckedesign.
The goal of his creative endeavour is achieving harmony between technical, economic and aesthetic aspects, translating them into a simple but sign-intense form.
