We have calculated the CO2 emissions of our company for the year 2022 and in return we supported the afforestation project in Panama. The holistic approach takes into account emissions of Scopes 1-3, with operational boundaries covering the entire business operation from energy and mobility to the production of goods and transport.

The former Genoa General Fruit and Vegetable Market has been transformed into the new Corso Sardegna Market and has become a key point for the neighbourhood: a large pedestrian area with plenty of greenery, seating, waste bins and a multifunctional playground.

Wood is the natural material par excellence and has always accompanied the life of human beings. Versatile and durable, it is used to produce everyday objects such as chairs, tables, stools, armchairs and deck chairs; if of sustainable and traceable origin, it also has the characteristic of producing positive environmental, social and economic impacts.

Recently, we successfully audited the renewal of our 3 ISO certificates (ISO-9001, ISO-14001 and ISO-45001), which are now valid for the next 3 years. These certificates are an official confirmation of our work in terms of quality, environmental management and occupational health and safety. We are proud of this, and we hope you are too!

In highly urbanized areas, particularly downtowns where land is very expensive, pocket parks are the only option for creating new public spaces and green oases without large-scale redevelopment. In inner-city areas, pocket parks are often part of urban regeneration plans and provide areas where wildlife such as birds can establish a foothold. By creating small parks with plants, flowers and trees, an additional temperature reduction is achieved. This in turn contributes to a pleasant urban climate.

Our modular  B I G  P L A N T E R S  offer creative scope for many different combinations. The planters can be equipped with additional seats, which can be individually adapted in size and shape. They can also be extended with arm- or backrests.

In addition to the redesign of the station forecourt in Cottbus, the Berlin-Südkreuz station was also the scene of improvements in 2020. The aim was to create a pleasant place for travellers, as well as residents, to linger. "We succeeded in doing that," said a Deutsche Bahn management. "The travellers like to use the furniture."

In order to protect and preserve our environment, we pay particular attention to CO2-neutral production when manufacturing our products - from the initial idea to the finished piece of furniture. Several decades ago, the Winkler brothers were already keen to find solutions for the design of open spaces that were as useful as they were aesthetic. It should always be communicative. This was the one essential approach. Environmental friendliness was the other, at least as important. 

One of our latest projects in Sesto in the South Tyrolean Dolomites! With its new outdoor design - planned by Studio Ing. Brunetti - the "Waldheim" sports zone functions as a play, recreation and communication area for sports enthusiasts, residents and guests. Our bespoke Isola seating islands are made from FSC 100% certified hardwood and have been produced in a sustainable way.

We've been doing this since 2007 (on a voluntary basis) and we were able to reforest 34,21 ha of fallow land with 37.218 trees.

The theme for this year's Earth Day is "Restore Our Earth" which focuses on natural processes and emerging green technologies that can restore the world's ecosystems.

World Wildlife Day will be celebrated in 2021 under the theme "Forests and Livelihoods: Sustaining People and Planet", as a way to highlight the central role of forests, forest species and ecosystems services in sustaining the livelihoods of hundreds of millions of people globally, and particularly of Indigenous and local communities with historic ties to forested and forest-adjacent areas.

The way public spaces are designed could change in a post-pandemic world, along with how they’re prioritized in urban areas. As the pandemic has converted people into full time pedestrians, public spaces have been some of the few sources of leisure outside of the home.

A new seating island winds its way through the Unna district of Königsborn, and the Neurotter Community School in Ketsch has reason to be happy: six new Big Planters now embellish the forecourt.

Until recently, the traveller at Cottbus Central Station could only find a few benches to sit on. For hot days there were no shady places. In the course of new marketing concepts, the forecourt was also to become a meeting place for Cottbus residents and visitors. Now our Isola benches and Big Planter invite you to linger and relax.

Our new products convince with a clear line and the reduction of  two materials: 100% FSC^® certified hardwood and metal, hot dip galvanized and powder-coated (RAL colours of your choice).

Leestes new parlour: the Henry-Wetjen-Platz! Through the use of street furniture from euroform, through floor design and mobile planters, the square will be designed for two years in such a way that the citizens of Leestes can use it for recreation and events.

9 new bicycle parking facilities have been built in the village centre in Naturno since the beginning of the year, 5 more have already been ordered. The project was realised with our ADFC-tested Elegance 186 bicycle racks.

The newly created seating island, whose organically curved shape blends into the surrounding paving of the square, consists of a steel and concrete construction with a circumferential seating surface made of 100% FSC-certified hardwood, which expands in the area of the existing tree and invites you to linger.
